Press Release / Launch of Value Added Services under DDK Asia Conference & Event Management

The specialty event management company DDK Communications has announced the launch of a new division under DDK Asia that further extends their services within the Asian MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) sector.

DDK, under the guidance of MD Hillary King, has long been on the leading edge of bespoke multi-day strategic conferences globally, working at the highest level in the industry. Central to the Asia brand is the creation of an independent resource that focuses on destinations, venues and types of events.

As Hillary explains…

We have, in the past, been solely a bespoke event consultancy and therefore client centric as opposed to destination or industry centric. The DDK Asia brand provides event specific resources that are transparent and offer cost effective solutions without compromising the DDK signature of flawless corporate and luxury events. In effect, taking the DDK ‘haute couture’ brand to a ‘ready to wear’ collection that adds value with savings passed onto clients.

Although this may not appear to be a major departure from the core business, it is certainly a very different approach that creates an independent and useful resource. Apart from news items from the region, there is also a Concierge Plus service, giving free advice, and a Venue Directory that lists properties with event facilities and types of events most suited. As Hillary explains…

This is just the start, we have plans to develop the Resource Centre to include event training services; production and banqueting procurement; and ancillary service providers like entertainment, teambuilding, speakers and photographers.

When asked about the free advise services she responded …

We have always been transparent with our contacts and recommendations to clients; our business is based on unique event and project management services; this has not change. Clients that choose DDK do so for what we bring to the table in terms of strategy, performance and execution that delivers overall objectives; our knowledge base is an integral part of this. I don’t see DDK ever becoming a ‘one size fits all’, our intent is to continue to offer unique and customized events to a discerning clientele. However, sharing our knowledge generally and helping those considering Asia is in-line with our philosophy and enhances both the unique benefits that we offer our clients and to the MICE industry as a whole.

Hillary is delighted to launch DDK Asia which reinforces their commitment to the Asian MICE industry and extends their position as a premier events resource in Asia.
